What is the Global Internship Program?

Living Sport’s Global Internship Program is the ultimate learning experience. This internship was created to give hands-on professional experience through working a multi-day international sporting event. The internship group will explore what each country has to offer through guided tours, visiting local sports teams and stadiums, and experiencing a number of cultural group excursions. The group will network within the global sports industry, interact with local college students, and learn about global job opportunities. The trip aims to help individuals grow both personally and professionally.

The 2017 Global Internship calendar will include two trips to Europe in late summer/early fall. The flagship sports event for both trips will be the Red Hook Criterium, a cycling race series that has been sweeping the world with five races held in the cities of Brooklyn, Barcelona, Milan, London, and Berlin. Cyclists ride at top speeds around hairpin turns without any breaks on the bike. The tour group will be official members of the Red Hook Crit staff and will assist in overall operations of the event. Additional sports experiences will be added to the itinerary as well.
