Living Sport's International Sport Business (ISB) Program was created to give passionate sport professionals, recent graduates, and current students an edge over the thousands of job seekers looking to score a gig in sports. Stemming from the popularity of edutainment experiences, Living Sport gives young adults the chance to receive international work experience and explore other countries through sport.

Our Sport Business Program is led by industry professionals who have immense experience in the sport industry and mentoring young professionals. Program participants will interact with sport business professionals creating a lasting network that extends far beyond the program. 

Internship credits can be earned for this experience.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

SHORT-TERM PROGRAM WITH BIG RESULTS:

Our brand new short-term program is 7 days of sport business conferences, executive meet & greets, digital media group challenges and the opportunity to assist with the MLB All-Star Festivities in Seattle, Washington!

Program participants will also receive the standard benefits of participating in a Sport Business Program through Living Sport. Alumni benefits include joining the Living Sport Network – an ever-growing network of like-minded sport business professionals, future sport business travel opportunities, and the option to continue involvement through free alumni programs such as the Living Sport Alumni Board, Ambassador Program, Book Club, exclusive digital sessions, reunion events, and more!

Our short-term program was designed this way for a purpose. We believe it gives us enough time to accomplish what we set out to do, and creates a cost-effective program allowing all deserving participants to get involved.

PLACEMENT WORKING DIRECTLY WITH MLB All-Star Program

Secure a spot to work the MLB All-Star festivities in Seattle! This position will place you in the action as you work events associated with the MLB All-Star Game’s Fan Fest filled with fan experiences, concerts, autograph sessions, World Series Trophy photo sessions, and more! The Living Sport team will work alongside MLB staff as we learn what it takes to work on your toes in the sport industry! Are you ready for the MLB to take over Seattle?!

SKILLS WORKSHOPS LED BY INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS: 

All group tours will be led by sport industry professionals. This allows us to conduct Skills Workshop sessions lead by executives that have years of experience and are willing to pass their knowledge along to you. During the Skills Workshop session, we will direct you on how to best list this experience on your resume, tips for an effective interview, best practices for a career in sports, etc. 

SPORT INDUSTRY NETWORKING: 

Networking is a key aspect of any business, but it especially stands true for the sport industry. During this program you will meet industry professionals and fellow participants that are the future of sport business. This is a true networking opportunity for you and a way to form important business relationships. A goal of the program, just like a sports team, is to create a comradery between participants and mentors, thus building lasting relationships far beyond this adventure. 

LOCAL SITE SEEING: 

Experiencing the culture of each city we visit is a very important part of personal growth and of our program. Program participants will be given a road map to must-see sites in Seattle that you can explore with your Living Sport teammates!

SEAtTLE 2023 PROGRAM Information

This program is a sport business school, travel experience, and sport business work opportunity with networking, all rolled into one. Think of it as an investment in your future career and life. Space is limited. Apply early to secure your spot.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Two (2) full-day career building workshop sessions with local sport business industry professionals

  • Opening session group welcome dinner will be provided

  • Placement on the MLB All-Star Events Team - Must pass a background check to be eligible.

  • Living Sport program t-shirt and other gifts for joining the team!

  • A strong network of sport business peers from around the USA

  • Future sport business and travel opportunities as part of the Living Sport Alumni Network

  • Complete itinerary is shared once accepted into the program



WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED:

  • Lodging Accommodations: Program participants will book their own hotel. Living Sport will connect you with other program participants to room together if you wish.

  • Flight costs: Flight costs will be booked on your own. Flight costs are very inexpensive right now and dependent on your departure airport there are deals out there!

  • Meals not listed above

  • Extra activities during your own leisure time

  • Local transportation

SAMPLE PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

  • A deposit of $450 is needed to reserve your spot once you are accepted into the program

  • Remaining balance will be due by January 4th
